Big bust of Stalin. The bust was found in an attic and has not been cleaned. It is as found. The bust is made of a kind of plaster and the coat seems varnished. It has damages that is easy to restore if desired. The bust is made by Sandor Ek. Sandor Ek (1902-1975) made a great number of propaganda posters for the Communist Party of Germany and Hungary. Also he made sculptures. After the liberation of Hungary from Nazi Germany in 1945 he became an important propaganda artist and professor of fine arts in Budapest. In the second world war he was enlisted in the red army.
