Lockheed XF-90 model plane. Handmade in the cold war era presumably in the Soviet Union. The plane is made of polished aluminium. The base is made of wood.
The Lockheed XF-90 was built in response to a US Air Force requirement for a long-range fighter and bomber escort. Lockheed was awarded a contract for two prototype XP-90s (redesignated as XF-90 in 1948). Two prototypes were built. The XF-90 never entered production.
