The Palace of Culture for Miners is one of Karaganda’s most iconic landmarks. The construction of the Karaganda Palace of Culture of Miners was begun in 1940 according to the project of local architects I. Brenner and Y. Yanosh. With the outbreak of World War II, construction was temporarily suspended.
