Table medal made in the Soviet Union, 1970. The medal was made for remembering the exile of Lenin to the village of Shushenskoye in Siberia. On the back the text on the medal reads:”The Siberian exile of V.I. Lenin”, and:”Shushenskoye”. The medal is not in the best condition. This will reflect in the price.
Upon returning to Russia, Lenin was arrested for sedition in 1895 and exiled to Shushenskoye in the Minusinsky District of eastern Siberia for three years. There, he devoted his time to translating and writing revolutionary texts, and marrying his wife Krupskaya in July 1898.
