On the 30th of April Queen Juliana resigned and her daughter Princess Beatrix was installed as the new Queen of the Netherlands. A day wich was supposed to be a celebration day turned into mass riots in Amsterdam. Tension and riots in Amsterdam and the Netherlands was already going on for a while in protest of house shortages. A lot of homes were squatted during that time.
