Lamp was made in 1970, see stamp on the bottom, and even appeared in a Russian film. It stands behind the captain who, of course, has a bottle of rum in his hand. There is an inscription on the lamp base and it was donated in 5-2-1971 and has a sturdy black switch. Shade and base are made of metal and are prohibited with a chrome bracket. Inside the shade is a white plastic circle. Lamp works well.
